How to prepare Stuffed bitter gourd in 30 minutes

  • Boil the Bitter gourd with Water, Tamarind, Turmeric powder and salt. Allow it in cooker to get one whistle
  • After cooling the cooker, remove the Bitter gourd and squeeze to remove water from it. Keep it aside.
  • Keep powder of Fried gram, Coconut, Chilli, Onion and Salt. Use mixer to prepare this powder
  •  Stuff this powder/paste into bitter gourds
  • Put the pan with vegetable oil on the gas stove
  • Allow oil to heat
  • Add stuffed bitter gourds into pan
  • Fry bitter gourds for 5 minutes in one side
  • Then fry other side till they get into golden brown colour (Approx 5 to 10 minutes in Sim flame)


  • Remove fried Stuffed bitter gourds into a plate and serve hot


  • Bitter gourd 250 gr
  • Vegetable Oil 100 ml
  • Fried gram 100 gr
  • Dry Coconut or Wet coconut 30 gr
  • Salt (Approx)
  • Tamarind (20 gr)
  • Onion 1 medium size
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
  • Red chilli 12 pieces
